Cute spot with indoor seating and outdoor. We got the hot teas and were pleasantly surprised that it's not a tea bag but steeped for you which requires more time. Their matcha lattes looked good. Service was friendly. Street parking

I usually come here to meet a friend or get some reading done. There aren't too many places to sit inside but there are tables out front on their patio. It's a pretty nice/chill atmosphere. The staff is pretty friendly and they've got some really good drink choices. I also really like their breakfast burrito and pastries. I'm grateful they're here in the neighborhood!

I love chit chat and have been so hooked on their banana bread latte! It's not too sweet but the flavors are perfect. They're always so friendly and helpful here as well! There's a lot of options and I can imagine everything is good, I just can't get myself to change up my order!!

Place is right on the corner of Sawtelle and Missouri Ave. they have a great selection of drinks and baked goods. Service was quick and the drink had a perfect balance of saltiness and bitterness. I got the sea salt mocha latte and it was a home run.

Chitchat Coffee & Matcha is a local coffee shop in Sawtelle serving up some unique matcha drinks! There is street parking all around the shop or garage parking with limited spots. They have a good amount of seating, both indoor and outdoors. They have a nice selection of different matcha, coffee, and pastries. Wifey and I got the Banana Bread Matcha Latte and the Strawberry Macadamia Milk Matcha Latte. Both drinks were refreshing with interesting flavor profiles and we could see the staff whisking the matcha in front of us! Overall, we are glad we had the chance to check this spot out. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. This is a great spot to get some work done, chill with some friends, or just grab a drink and go. Come chitchat at Chitchat!

Chitchat Coffee and Matcha is a super cute local cafe in Sawtelle. It's pretty busy and hard to get a table, but the indoor/outdoor setup is pleasant and breezy on a hot day. Staff were quick and responsive. I got the iced peach matcha latte which is a limited edition summer drink. The peach flavor was very subtle (had to ask for some more sweetener to really bring out the flavor), but the drink is definitely unique and refreshing. It tasted like it was made with oat milk which made the drink a bit lighter. Pretty pricey at $7.50, but would come again to try the rose matcha which is $6.50.

Ceremonial grade matcha in the strawberry macadamia matcha latte was good ($7.50), nice spot with tables to do work, and my cashier was very thoughtful. Tiny parking lot in the back but you'll probably have to street park.

Chitchat was my go to escape from campus back when I was in my undergrad. The folks are unbelievably sweet and caring, the matcha and coffee are high quality, the breakfast burritos are perfectly reheated and crispy. Speed and quality is a given and it's in the cutest little green shop! Mango Matcha is always a go to here, if you're feeling coffee then an oat milk latte here is awesome. This place is a little limited in terms of parking and seating so make sure you come at a good time with the full charge on your laptop in case. I'd also recommend sitting outside because it's truly a good place to enjoy the sun!

I spent a few weeks rotating at UCLA, and Chitchat brought me much pleasure during my short stay here. It quickly became a little bit of a tradition to spend my one free day of the week here. I'd come on Sunday mornings, order a drink, and get a little work done in the outside patio area. The strawberry macadamia milk matcha latte is amazing. They make their own strawberry macadamia milk, and it's so tasty and pairs so well with the rich green matcha. It's not too sweet, as they use a strawberry milk rather than strawberry jam, which I've seen at other places. I ordered the incredible hulk drink once, which is espresso and matcha. It was fine, but not as tasty as the strawberry matcha. I've also gotten their breakfast burrito, which is decent. It's not the best that I've had in LA, but I like that they take the care to grill the cut halves of the burrito so you get two crispy ends of a cut burrito. The avocado is nice and creamy. I like that there are three sauces included that you can mix and match. A good pre-hike snack! Really going to miss my little routine here. It's on a quiet street on weekend mornings, so good for people watching. Lots of dogs coming through, which is always delightful. Free WiFi and public restroom. What else could you ask for!

Came here for the matcha chai latte and was impressed. The pastries looked tempting and delicious but it was just the drink for me today. Seemed like a popular spot as it had decent customer traffic the whole time I was there. My only negative is the parking. The designated lot isn't very large so you may have to park on the metered street spots which is what I did. Worth a try for sure.
